WomanWell Center

Spiritual Direction Services...

Spiritual Direction is a privileged time and place to reflect with another about one’s Relationship with the Divine and all that comes into one’s life journey.

It is a common search for direction in which one’s human spirit finds its invitation to grow and can include any issues, questions, or concerns that arise out of one’s lived experience.

“Ultimately, spiritual direction is the process of coming home to one’s deepest self.”

You are invited... WomanWell extends to you an invitation to pause on life’s journey, to come to a safe nurturing atmosphere of quiet, to be companioned on your spiritual journey.

Corrina Thomas, FSPA
Contact Corrina Thomas at 651-739-7953

Corrina's work as a spiritual and retreat director centers around companioning individuals in a transformational process which includes such approaches as balancing of the chakras, enneagram, focusing, active imagination and guided imagery. She believes that each person and all of creation are living images of the divine and active participants in the process of evolution which are inter-related and inseparable from the Source of all life. It is in discovering our deepest identity as part of the creative life force that we will find hope, healing and harmony for ourselves and for our world.

Spiritual direction is not about someone directing your spiritual life. It is all about being a companion on the journey. It is about having someone who cares deeply enough to listen to your story with great respect and gentleness - so that you are able to hear the wisdom of your own heart speaking. In this companioning process you can find comfort and guidance to your hearts deepest longings. Individual spiritual direction is available all year long.

As developing individuals, we have a persistent and a tenacious desire to deepen our personal spiritual growth. ‘Going Home’ will require a good friend, namely a spiritual director, to accompany you on your inward journey. I would be honored to be present with you as you travel ‘Homeward’ to honor your Divine essence.

Wholehearted! My intent is to offer spiritual direction that explores ways one is or can be wholehearted in their work and personal lives. It is your journey and I am simply a companion through the mysterious doorways and fertile experiences of your living. I am educated as a clinical social worker and received my spiritual direction training through WomanWell's Spiritual Guidance Program. I have explored Christian mysticism, earth-based spiritualities, the universe story and Eastern/Buddhist meditation practices for over 20 years. I look forward to meeting you in your deepest explorations,
wonderings and story.

SUPERVISION
         (For Spiritual Directors)

A WILD PATIENCE HAS TAKEN US THIS FAR.  Adrienne Rich Wild patience and passion have brought us to this moment as spiritual directors.  After 24 years in private practice as a spiritual director and psychotherapist, I am still in awe as people come to tell their sacred stories.  In the last 14 years I have been in supervision for both parts of my practice.  The experience of being in a group, as I am sure you know, is powerful and encouraging.

I am inviting you to be part of a new supervision group with spiritual directors own issues.  We would meet once a month in my home for
1 1/2 to 2 hours.  Each person would take time to briefly check in and then we would focus on directee and the director's own issues.  Please call if you have questions and are interested.  The group will begin on a date we can all agree on and when we have 5 people in the circle.
